Things to know
Children should dress in easily accessible clothing to help prevent accidents (avoid button-fly, belts, and overalls). Each child has a cubby space to hold their personal items. We recommend purchasing a Closetmaid fabric drawer to keep your child’s belongings contained and secure. Children should wear socks and sneakers daily. Please avoid crocs, sandals, and flip-flops to reduce the risk of injury to your child’s feet and increase their comfort level on the playground. All children in the 2K classroom will be potty training. Your help at home will greatly increase their success rate. Please send velcro-release pull-ups, wipes, several pairs of underwear, and a complete change of clothes to school. You may send your child with their breakfast up until 8:00 a.m. Your child will receive the most benefit from our program if they arrive before 9:00. If your child arrives after 9:00, they may miss the morning lesson/activity. A 30-minute music class is available on Monday mornings at an additional cost Sports and fitness classes are available weekly for an additional charge – more information.

Keeping busy
Children will be provided with outdoor play time daily, weather permitting. We also have an indoor gym with riding toys and play equipment for use on rainy/cold days. Children are provided with lunch at 11:00. We will provide alternate meals for children with allergies or dietary restrictions. Nap is from 12:00 until 2:00. Each child has their own mat for nap-time. Parents may send a small pillow and blanket, and a soft animal or doll. Please make sure all items are small enough to fit in your child’s cubby space. Children are provided with afternoon snacks at 2:00 and 4:00 Daily sheets are provided to the parents to inform you about your child’s behavior, eating, napping, and potty training habits throughout the day. Children typically move to the 3K classroom around their third birthday as long as they are fully potty trained..
